The hotel is cute and very old San Francisco, in a good way! The rooms are not in great condition though. The radiator would not go off and was at 90 degrees multiple days in a row. The staff tried to fix it but didn’t seem to be bake to find a lasting fix

Cute hotel. Old school feel. Good amount of space in the rooms. Rooms had most amenities but not toiletries. No irons but safe and fridge. Comfortable space. Hotel restaurant was very good!

The Andrews is a small boutique-style hotel near Union Square. Although it could have been a decent choice, there were several issues: Front desk staff were unhelpful, even shrugging off the fact that the only place in the hotel to get coffee was a broken machine. The room and bath were so small (no individual temp control) that I had to wedge my knees under the sink to sit on the toilet. The shower was tiny, with a leaky shower head and mold. The bright spot was the restaurant in part of the space, FINO. It was amazing in both service and cuisine.

No frills stay, comfortable and clean. "Breakfast" is a bowl of fruit, donuts and yogurt, with vending machine coffee. Also your climate control options is a ceiling fan or opening the window. Long as u are ok w that, its a decent deal.

Room was nothing like pictures it was tiny, tv was tiny, old heater system, hour late for check-in had to wait out in hall for them to fix up room. no parking onsite its 5 min away. We would of left but it was so difficult to get everything up to 3rd floor and we were to exhausted to move somewhere else. Horrible

Really great renovated rooms. Quiet and clean. I’ve stayed in many hotels and the Front Desk people here are by far the most unfriendly people I’ve ever encountered. I just wish the customer service was better, but Overall, still had a good stay.

The hotel is small but cute and the rooms are fairly updated. The restaurant on the property, Fino, is quaint and we had dinner there one night. The food and service was excellent. It's too bad the restaurant is not available for happy hour and continental breakfast, given that the lobby is so small and cramped.

During 3 separate stays in the past two weeks each room was clean and the beds very comfortable. Decent showers, convenient outlets for charging, and added points for historic charm. But not set up for someone who wants to just sit in their room and watch TV. The rate was great for quality basic accommodations in the heart of the city.
