The staff was great and the room itself was decent, kind of a musty smell but everything felt clean. The reason I’m rating 4 stars is because this was the NOISIEST hotel stay I’ve ever had in SF, and I’ve stayed at many SF hotels. The street outside was LOUD ALL NIGHT, into the early morning hours. I had to be up at 4am for a surgery and I don’t think I slept longer than one hour, and it was just a Wednesday night. Loud music, cars honking, people yelling. Constantly. This is obviously not the hotel’s fault, but I do think people should know before they book.

Me and my husband planned a trip to SF as part of our honeymoon. We paid for a balcony room, i called a couple weeks ahead to confirn the balcony and let the front receptionist know it was our honeymoon and wanted to confirn our room to make sure everything was perfect. She had offered to put us in the tallest balcony during our stay as a congratulations in assuming. I excitingly accepted and thanked her. When we arrived to the hotel after our flight. We were surprised when the gentleman checking us in said there wasn’t any notes in the system about a higher level room and that they were completely booked. ( on a Monday and Tuesday mind you ) my husband tried informing him that we called ahead and we were promised a balcony room in the highest floor, but the gentleman kept interrupting him and very rudely kept repeating “ we’re fully booked! “ with little to bo effort of resolving or understanding our frustration. Being that we were so tired from our flight we just accepted whatever room they gave us. As we walk in to out room, first impression was terrible. The couch and chair had unspeakable and unidentifiable stains as well as the bed. Everything was outdated and dirty we did not feel comfortable even sitting on the bed. As if the rude customer service and broken promises weren’t enough. The room was disgusting. It was so bad we ended uo leaving and driving down 3 minutes to the Hilton for double the price but 100x better room. DON’T STAY HERE UNLESS DESPERATE.
