We spent a little extra for the luxury king room and it was definitely worth it. The room was huge. Very clean and modern while still retaining the historic feel and nature of the place. They did a great job.

I enjoyed the Victorian style with modern day touches. The room was very clean, beds very comfortable and it was quiet even though the Cambria Christmas market event was going on. Check in was easy and the staff friendly and helpful.

Cute inn, great location. Family suite was very spacious but carpet in the room seemed dirty and needs to be removed or replaced. Could use some decor on walls, the room seemed a bit drab.

The rooms are big and clean. The happy hour was really cool. It seems understaffed. They don't ever answer the phone and we waited a few hours for a callback after leaving a message. The person at the front desk was working while they were noticably sick. It seemed like someone should have been able to cover.

We arrived during stated open office hours (10 am to 8 pm) and found no one but the cleaning staff. Did not here from anyone about early or a late check in until 2 pm. At this time we were already at a pre-planned excursion. Eventually a late check in was agreed upon.

Staff was very friendly, loved the free happy hour (2 drink max) from 5-7pm with great drink selections. Charming and clean spacious rooms but some of the furniture looked old and stained. Water pressure was not good. Great central location to walk to Main Street.

The Rigdon House was such a delightful place to stay. This small inn is just a block or two from Main Street in Cambria, making it an easy walk to charming shops and delicious restaurants. It’s also conveniently located directly across the street from the Cambria Christmas Market shuttle pick-up spot. The gentleman at the front desk was welcoming, friendly, and very helpful. Our two-bedroom suite felt modern, clean, and fresh. Each bedroom had its own fireplace and TV, and the suite included a small fridge/freezer combo, coffee maker, and microwave. The Inn offers a daily happy hour, although we were out both evenings and didn’t get to attend. Coffee and snacks were always available for guests to grab, which was a nice touch. The only challenge we encountered was figuring out the heating system. The wall thermostat controlled the AC, not the heat. Eventually, we discovered the heat came from the fireplaces—though only one of the two fireplaces was working (the one in the second bedroom). Overall, The Rigdon House was a comfortable, clean, and lovely place to stay. We will definitely be coming back to the Rigdon House.

The Rigdon House is always clean, quiet and a pleasant stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only reason I give it a 4-star rating is that the rooms are a bit dated and need an upgrade.
