Do not stay at this hotel. This property is not worth the cost. We had several occasions in which the customer service was poor: - Moaning about other guests and staff in front of customers, extremely unprofessional - Following noise from other guests (playing music loudly and revving a car, driving it around the car park while also smoking cannabis in early hours of the morning), the staff moved us to another room. We were thankful for them attempting to solve the issue but then, rather than addressing the problem with the other guests, they criticised us in the lobby stating we should have moved all our belongings at 12am to the other room - Rude staff both at check in and check out The food in the restaurant is expensive yet has the quality of a microwave meal. If you do stay at this hotel, I'd recommend eating at the Santa Barbara Inn just up the road. The quality of food and service matches the prices. The room was nice enough (make sure to book a ocean view room otherwise you over look a car park) and the location was great, right next to the beach but I will not be wasting my money again on this hotel. Please also note the cost of valet parking (there is street parking around but there are restrictions).

We paid for one of the best rooms with a sea view and were instead provided with a TREE view- our room looked straight out into a tree right outside our room which obliterated our so-called sea view and made our room look dark and gloomy inside. When I spoke to hotel management, they said there was nothing they could do because I had booked through Expedia !!! This room cost us a fortune (being one of their best rooms) a night and apart from being misled in terms of what we were getting, the hotel itself is tired and run down. They provided us with the bare minimum and even the toilet paper was the lowest possible grade. Pool area and bar felt very downmarket and depressing. The hotel is also located in a down-market area of town. The only redeeming quality was that some of the staff were efficient and friendly. Otherwise I would advise you to avoid this hotel at all costs especially since they were so unwilling to help rectify things because we had booked through Expedia.

Was looking for a hotel with character, nice beach view, and a gym. Found this location and booked a king bed room with ocean view balcony. This was our 28th anniversary weekend so wanted to stay at a decent place. Easy and quick check in…but was very disappointed at the room. It was tiny…you can’t even open the dresser door wide open because the door hits the bed. There was no counter space in the bathroom…and we really didn’t have a nice ocean view room like the Internet. Balcony over looks the noisy pool and to the side, you can see little bit of ocean through bunch of trees and buildings. Paid all these extra fees for this room And it was not worth it. View is poor…and the room was TINY. Don’t think we will stay here again in the future.

Disappointing Experience I paid a premium price for a room that fell short of expectations. The room had a persistent unpleasant odor, and the lack of windows made it feel like a box. Although the staff was polite, they didn't offer a solution to the issues. Given the price, I expected better. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this property to others at this rates.

Great Properly... A bit dated, but overall pretty nice. It brought a bit of old charm, and you could tell that at one point in time it was pretty luxurious... Definitely not the Four Seasons!
