Excellent location in Santa Barbara that was close to the pier, shops, and eateries! Also, about fifteen minutes from UCSB. The hotel is boutique-esque without being pretentious. The room was cozy, yet spacious, clean, and bright. The facial wipes by the sink were a nice feature enjoyed by my make up wearing daughter! Additionally, the available toiletries were delightful! At the time we arrived, close to check in time, it appeared that there was only one person on staff at the front desk. We waited patiently, but people were upset that the complimentary hot water for tea was empty and the jacuzzi and pool were unavailable because the heater broke that day. I suppose this was fine since it was grey and cold outside, but it was an unavailable amenity on site. We loved the comfy beds and the great location and hope to come back again when sunnier and the pool might be available. Thanks, Mason Beach Inn!

Overall great place to stay at. The scent, and the ambiance of the boutique hotel was amazing. It felt like a mini resort. Stephanie is great at the front desk & in preparation of our reservations. I wish I could have gotten everyone’s name. From housekeeping to maintenance. Everyone is very friendly and quick to respond to any of our needs. I had requested some add ons to our room, within minutes, I want to say less than 5 minutes everything was connected in the room. The pool & jacuzzi have temperature control and towels are available if needed. Laying chairs are positioned to get some sun exposure for tanning but also have a few under shade. Something else that was available during our stay was coffee, tea, oatmeal, cookies, and a fruit bowl in the lobby. The marina is walking distance so no need to drive. Shops and eateries are also near by. They also provided great recommendations on what to do near by and it was a hit for our family.

My family stayed here for a birthday weekend in Santa Barbara. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff was friendly. We received 2 free alcoholic drinks at check in and the lobby was always stocked with fresh coffee and cookies. The hotel location was fantastic, just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and Stearns Wharf. We would definitely stay here again.

This was truly one of our most enjoyable stays in Santa Barbara. The hotel offered a very tranquil and convenient location, with easy access to various dining options. The in-room amenities were exceptional, and we appreciated that everything was newly remodeled. The beds were both clean and comfortable.
