The property was in excellent condition. I was pleased that I received daily housekeeping services, as that is not always provided in this day and age, even at more expensive hotels. Pacific Crest will be at the top of my list for future visits to Santa Barbara.

We loved the deck off our room. Loved the bed an the colors of the room. A small microwave would be nice a softer towels. Overall great ocean view, love the upper deck!

Not worth the price.Average and weird smell

The check-in was smooth however upon entering the room there was a weird smell that stunk up the room. It smelled like cheap cleaning products and the smell of lime stain due to water damage. Additionally, the WiFi was HORRIBLE. It did not reach our room and we were unable to access anything on the internet due to "poor service". When we asked the front desk staff, they apologized but nothing was fixed. Additionally, the shower area was not well kept and it felt dirty and smelly. The bed itself was comfortable. We were also scared periodically because there was a tree above our room that would drop things on our roof and it felt like someone was walking above us. The floors creaked and the room was small.

Cute little property. Easy walk to the beach, restaurants, the pier, etc. I had the king room with the deck. It’s a small room but suited me fine. The shower worked great and although I don’t take long showers, the water pressure was fabulous and I never ran out of hot water.

everything was ok - check in, check out, stay. Except facts that: 1. there is a lack of sound insulation and we herd drunk people chatting downstairs like next room TV. 2. nobody was present at the reception at 9pm and we had to contact those people ourselves 3. very short breakfast time window

Nothing like the photos

We showed up for a weekend for my wife’s birthday and though we paid for the room at the standard rate of any other room, they put us in a random room in the parking lot that is nothing like those displayed in the pictures. This was the only room from the parking lot that was accessed behind the building and this made it feel very unsafe. The bed had stains, spider, and construction supplies right in front of the room with loud construction going on. When we asked for another room, they told us they didn’t have any and wouldn’t give us a refund though the room was nothing like what was shown online. The other rooms here seem great however you are taking a gamble that you are getting this room. When we told them about the spiders, they said they’d bring someone to clean it and hours later nobody showed and we ended up having to check out. We found a few hotels with rooms that faced the water for the same rate. Those were awesome.

We had read the mixed reviews and were a bit skeptical but we thought everything was excellent. I had read some reviews about remodelled rooms vs ones not done yet and the staff were kind enough to show us both and gave us the choice. We actually chose the room that had not been remodelled yet and it was more than acceptable. It was clean and bedrooms were comfortable. Overall we just found the whole place very charming and staff were so friendly. Rooms are being remodelled, including the one beside ours but the staff stopped working around 5 and noise was intermittent before then. The pool was warm and lovely. Was a great value for the location and the kitchen amenities. We slept with all our windows open and didn’t find it noisy whatsoever, despite some reports of other rowdy guests breaking rules and using pool late at night. Overall, I would highly recommend this charming hotel!

I’m so disappointed in this property and can’t believe I paid almost $400 to stay here for one night. They literally did not have normal pillows on the beds. They were small squares and the beds themselves were extremely uncomfortable. The property pictures were much more flattering than the actual hotel itself. I would not recommend this hotel!

First off, this is an inn not a hotel. The room was very clean. If you think you will utilize the kitchen, bring your own pots and pans. The nonstick from their pots/pans were pealing off when we’re trying to boil the water. If you tell them about the condition, they’d bring a new set of the same cheap cookware. Utensils, bowls were plastic. The tv connection was having issues that kept re-connecting. Everything else was good. The beds were comfortable. The surrounding was quiet.

Well I tried to like the property since it’s close to the beach. But there are THREE main things I noticed about our stay: 1.) there was a dead insect on the floor next to the bed. 2.) the kitchen floor was sticky 3.) the housekeeping staff only cleaned the room once during our stay ( we never left the “do not disturb” sign on the doorknob.) I figured oh well, they are probably busy, seeing as it’s a beach town. But what really bothered me is that the housekeeping staff is actually right outside my room, with their cart parked nearby— and they’re always in their cellphone.
