As others have stated: spotless. Very friendly. Very small. 10 total rooms. Old-school motel that has been very well-renovated. Clean, comfy beds. Not far from the beach and downtown. Well-priced. This place is a great choice for anyone with mobility issues as convenient one-level motel offers parking spots within a few steps of the room.

Great little spot in Santa Barbara! The room was quite cute, very clean, and exceeded our expectations for the price! Parking was a little tricky with our U-haul trailer since the lot is pretty tight, but we found some street parking not too far away. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for an affordable place to crash in the area.

WE were so happy to find the Town and Country Inn was a motel in the old style. My husband likes to park the car outside the room which makes unloading easy for him. My biggest surprise was how clean the shower was. In most hotels I don’t use the shower because there is always some evidence of not thorough cleaning. In this case, the shower -and the whole bathroom - were sparkling clean. Beds & pillows were comfortable. We were greeted warmly when we went inside to register. We would not hesitate to stay here again when in Santa Barbara. Thank you for the good experience.

Suitable motel for a one night stay in Santa Barbara. Smelled heavily of bleach in the room, wish they had aired it out before our arrival. Housekeeping was a bit too eager to get us out, opened our door and left it open before we checked out.

We found the hotel clean and quiet. The beds were comfortable and the towels new and plentiful. The location on State St. was convenient for our outings to Goleta and Lower State St. We would stay at this location again.

Trash around the parking lot.An old air conditioning unit throwed up against the fence. The floor was so filthy I had to wash my feet.They were black from the dirt. The linens were clean and towels were OK but it's a two star hotel at best. the town was completely sold out of hotel rooms.Or we would have stayed somewhere else.
