The room was modern, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Check-in was smooth. The air conditioning and all room amenities worked perfectly. The on-site restaurant was convenient and the atmosphere relaxing. Wi-Fi was reliable, though slightly slow. Overall, a great experience — stylish hotel with good service.

The hotel had really good extras such as shuffle board in the lobby. The beds were really comfortable and the rooms were spacious and clean. We will definitely return to this hotel.

I absolutely loved this property as it felt like a resort rather than a hotel. The staff was very friendly, the venue was spectacular especially in regards to the pool, bar, and restaurant, and the bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. I highly recommend this hotel and I will definitely be staying here again the next time I'm in Santa Cruz.

This is a relatively nice motel, not a 4 star hotel. The doors are exterior. You will hear every footstep that passes your room, as well as everything that happens in the rooms adjacent to yours. Zero soundproofing, and no carpet anywhere. The shower had such low water pressure it took me 20 minutes to shower. The stone shower floor hurt my feet, and made it impossible to see if the shower was actually clean or not. Very clever of them, actually. Upon check out, when I expressed my dissatisfaction, the woman at the front desk offered to refund my parking, which I thought was kind, but then I saw that I was double charged for parking, so she refunded a charge I should have never been charged in the first place. I paid for parking up front on Hotels.com, and then was charged again at the hotel, even though when I checked in, I confirmed that I had in fact prepaid for parking. Overall, this was a dishonest, disappointing experience.

The staff is very unfriendly and unhelpful with the exception of the morning bar/dining staff, the others staff was rude. The room was not what we paid for as we had reservations for a pool view and received a roof view. The prices are ridiculous for what you get. Stains all over the lampshades, black marker all over the floor, and the evening and night staff as well as the front desk staff were not customer friendly in anyway. Will not recommend this hotel nor be staying again.
