Very happy with our stay. We stayed one night before our Royal Caribbean cruise. The furnishings in our room were dated, but everything was clean. Loved the neighborhood. It was safe and lots of cute shops nearby. We walked to the beach. I'd say it was not quite a 10-min walk. The weather wasn't the best while we were here, but didnt keep my kids from swimming in the pool. Breakfast options were good. Loved the cookies at night too! The ladies at the front desk were very helpful. As far as customer service goes these days, I was very impressed. We scheduled a Lyft the next morning. It was a 32-min ride to the San Pedro port. It was $33 not including tip.

Great Location and cookies!

When free cookies in the lobby and the updated bathroom are the highlights... For a business place to rest and do some computer work, it was fine. I could see they were working hard to maintain what they have. "A" for effort. All the carpets need to be replaced. She was obviously once a proud motel, but has become a bit worn on the edges. Like I said, for a business hotel/motel it was fine. The breakfasts were a nice value added, it saved me trying to hunt down coffee and a bagel. the food was ok and I imagine for a family on a budget could be a life saver. It was quiet, and the bed was comfortable. The closet left a bit to be desired. It checked all the must haves for a business trip, so I would likely stay again if I was by myself. I liked the walking distance to downtown and restaurants (not including Mc Donalds across the street). The fact it rained nearly the entire time I was there likely contributed to my less than stellar feed back. Parking was also easy. Front desk staff were great.

The staff was nice--very welcoming and friendly. The location on the beach-side of Pacific Coast Highway is great--a short easy walk to Main Street shops and restaurants and the Beach. The facility is a bit dated, but was very clean, has free parking, and is comfortable enough.

Great location and Every Comfort

This is not a swanky hotel but they go above and beyond to provide everything possible to make your stay comfortable. There is a refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker and safe in the room. The bed was comfortable although the pillows were too firm for me. They have breakfast and snacks available in the lobby. There is plenty of covered parking and since it's conveniently located near Main St. we were able to park and walk everywhere we wanted to go. Looks can be deceiving when you arrive and see the fast food restaurants across the street because it was a lovely, quiet location and we had a very relaxing stay. The pool is small and in a central enclosed area so if you're looking to lay out by the pool this is probably not your place but if you want to take advantage of all that the community has to offer it's great.
