Great place for a family reunion weekend. Everyone was really lovely.

The hotel is a rural golf resort with very reasonable room prices. Lovely park like surroundings and gardens. Standard rooms had everything necessary including bottled water. 2 dining options, formal and casual bar meals. Bar meals were very nice. Had a table at the window with great views of the formal gardens and part of the golf course. The hotel is within a stately country manor, so while it was not an issue, there was no lift, and outside access doors were locked.

Enjoyed the stay, room 401, (wheelchair accessible) we found having to move the kettle to the other side of the room to get an electricity supply quite irritating when there must be a supply nearer to power the fridge. Also the lighting is inadequate particularly to see into the deep drawers near the door. The wet room has the best non slip floor we have ever found.
