Receptionists were helpful and polite, clean room, comfortable bed and quiet environment.
Excellent room service, and the food was delicious.
The ONLY downside was that I had to request room service for two consecutive nights using my phone, because the telephone in the room (272), was not working. I reported it both nights, but they seemed unbothered.
This led me to believe that they probably already knew.
Otherwise it was a lovely stay and I will definitely return❤️
Room was really basic. Kettle and 2 t bags , 2 coffee a couple of milk cartons, none was ever replaced during our stay , so you have to buy tea or coffee.
Paid £84 for breakfast yet no one told us times or anything, so missed breakfast except the last day when the lady tried to say we only had room only. Which although was cleared up quickly, it was embarrassing the server saying that infront of peopke yet it was there mistake
Hotel qas lovely, food boring 😴 unless you want chips with everything, not even a salad on the menu which cost me £20 and the salad was inedible it was limp and looked like it had sat on the side of hours, it looked pitiful

Initially there were some issues with my room at check-in around noise but after a while the hotel resolved this and I had a great stay. Isabel on reception was brilliant.
Pleased with my stay overall - didn't use any of the facilities, but the bed was extremely comfortable. Only real complaint is that the room is starting to show its age. The bathroom especially could do with some love!
But the location was great, there was tons of free parking and the staff were great.
I very much enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I found the staff extremely pleasant and hospitable. The room was clean and nicely decorated. I would highly recommend it to others.
Been staying at the Arden for 20 + years. High standards maintained with pleasant attentive staff. Food, both in restaurant for evening meal, and breakfast, good.

The room was spotless,although it took some time for the hot water to come for my shower. The staff were all friendly and happy. The highlight was the Aussie burger,the best burger I have had for years

It was ok for 1 night . great being able to use the pool facilities and the staff were welcoming and friendly , food at the bar was also very tasty
Downside, told upon arrival about a party the night we stayed , they explained they moved us as far away as possible but turned out to be right below us. This went on till nearly midnight and could literally have had a party in our own room it was that loud, also we were placed right next to a door on the corridor which also banged loudly each time someone went through, one the party ended we then could hear lots of banging directly below us of them clearing up so got startled awake numerous times by the loud banging around , it didn’t really quieten till after 1am. People walking through the corridor and banging the door were also very loud so there seemed to be no noise proofing anywhere, can’t say it was the best nights sleep .
If I’d known that we were going to be placed above a party I would have changed hotels prior to arrival !
The rooms are ok but the usb socket on one side of the bed was damaged and not able to used. The tap in the bathroom was also a bit random and was either very slow or full force so managed to soak ourselves a few times just trying to wash hands or brush teeth etc.
The rooms are clean and a good size and had the basic amenities available.
The breakfast was an extra £14 per person for the full English the next morning , the coffee was good value and food tasty with good items on offer .
Staff were brilliant, answered any questions promptly.
Location is brilliant for the NEC although it’s easier to drive round than walk.
Didn’t eat but the bar food looked really good.
The pool and jacuzzi were good.
I would definitely book again.
For the price it was spot on.

Unfortunately the fan heating system couldn’t be used due to a heavy rattling noise when in operation.
Many of the corners at floor in the bathroom had not been cleaned thoroughly.
