3 customers squashed in a small room with a hostel bed. The receptionist couldn't give us a bigger room. No kettle in the room. No ventilation in the tiny toilet. One of the guests couldn't fit in the toilet as it was for slim people. Awful 2 nights stay. Never again.

This hotel is vastly overpriced. I would give it 2/10 based on the £109 a night I paid......it would be 1/10 but the staff were good, friendly and welcoming. A fair price for this hotel would be £60 MAX. The rooms are small, old, run down, extremely basic and outdated. In need of a full renovation. The location is rough so would avoid if you are walking around at night.....tbh I would avoid regardless unless as I said it is £60 per night.

What makes a great hotel is the staff. From the Manager down everyone was well-trained, helpful and welcoming. It's in a great location just at the end of Chinatown about 10 mins from Birmingham New Street within easy reach of restaurants and bars. Although it's a budget hotel it's smart, modern and comfortable. Ok it may not have sophisticated dining but you can get pizza and a beer there. It's a budget hotel with luxury brand service. If I'm in Birmingham this will be my goto hotel.

It is exactly what it says: A budget hotel but staff were friendly, the room was clean and the shower was small but lovely. I would definitely stay there again
