Rainy days in Sydney

We spent a rainy few days in Sydney and the Mariners Court Hotel was raindrop-dodging close to several restaurants and pubs. The breakfast buffet offered a nice variety of foods.

Mariners was a great stay with easy access to the city. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was delicious. I will definitely have this as my go to hotel for a city stay in Sydney.

Love staying here at Mariners Court Hotel. Has everything we need. Hot breakfast is great and love the fact that people must clean up after themselves, clearing their own tables. Very respectful to hard working staff who provide excellent friendly service.

I have been staying at Mariner's Court Hotel for over 20 years. I love the location. It's easy to walk into the city or up to Kings Cross. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Can highly recommend.

I loved the staff, just so friendly and accommodating. They made us feel very welcome. Also loved the lounge spaces on each level. Great space for early risers followed by a hearty breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay and the short walk to the art gallery. Thank you.

Friendly staff 1st room was newly renovated but too small for 3 people for 4 nights and only had 2 beds when I booked 3 beds. We were moved the 2nd day to a room with 3 beds but it was still on the smaller side. Would be fine for a night or two. Black rubber mats on the shower floor are off putting. Buffet breakfast is a good start to the day but would suit kids more with white bread and a sweet option & a sweet cereal.

A nice property with a unique history. It was built for navy personnel back in its day. There’s a real nautical feel to it. The room was clean and comfortable, with a kitchenette and small balcony. Bed was comfy. Some of the power points did not work but others did. Bathroom worked, with. Ice hot water but was a bit dated. Some of the floor seal was peeling. A fairly easy 30 min walk to the Opera House, Circular Quay or the city. 10 min walk to train and some great cafes. The area was quiet. Breakfast was fair: all the basics on offer. Service staff were very friendly and helpful.
