This was the most remarkable place I have ever stayed. Being right with the animals, listening to the singing of the birds in the morning, and the koala growls at night, being able to visit the zoo at any time was truly magnificent. The staff were truly amazing ensuring all your needs were either met or answered. The location to be able to visit the rest of the city was perfect. A beautiful ferry ride to Sydney’s circular quay made our transportation to other tourist sites enjoyable. The rooms were clean, spacious, with comfortable beds, and had an amazing comfort and calming feeling. It was the most perfect stay I have ever had. :)

The rooms are beautiful, with a koala outside, we didn't see her in the evening and I was worried we wouldn't but she was there in the morning and we were lucky to see her moving around. The sanctuary tour is great, we had the amazing Lee who was great. Views from the lounge and restaurant are amazing and food is good too.

Very friendly staff. Loved our tour by Helen. She was friendly, knowledgeable and evidently passionate about her work an animals! Deserves a promotion!! One of a kind experience. After a long 16hr flight we went strait to the retreat at 9am. Our room was available so we were able to head there, shower, make tea and relax. The room was, very clean, modern and comfortable. Opening the slider to see a koala just sleeping in a tree. The zoo was great. We had dinner in their bar while looking across the harbor at Sydney opera house and bridge. Then slept 11hrs straight. I’m sure this is the reason we never had jet lag. Would definitely recommend

Stay there for for my daughter's second birthday, we had a great time! The staff is lovely and very helpful, the facilities and location are excellent. The only downside is the choice for dinner either a restaurant or a very limited bar menu, none of the options were suited for a lively full of energy tottler, but we managed with pizza and salad. We will definitely be back.
