The front desk staff were not helpful. We had a complaint about bugs in the room and they dismissed us and did not want to acknowledge the issue. We wanted to make them aware however it was not received very well.

Unit had everything that we needed. Needs a refresh & update. Mould on the roof in the bathroom. Shower curtain looked dirty along the bottom. Glass door to balcony did not latch back because of the air conditioner compressor, so the door would bang constantly in the wind. $3 to hire a pool towel was ridiculous. All staff were lovely. Check in and check out was very easy.

Outstanding view. I could sit on the balcony every day and never get tired of it. Room was very well equipped and nice. This looks like a 5 star hotel but it is not. The building is great but the staff indifferent. Basically a 14 story nice motel. I liked it and would stay here again

We love staying at The Aquarius. The upper floor rooms have an amazing view of the sea and Magnetic Island. The rooms are comfortable, have kitchenette facilities snd the property is a short walk to all of the bars and restaurants in town. This is our go to place for accommodation in Townsville. Very happy to recommend.
