At check in the staff member was friendly and polite. She explained the property layout very well. Once we got to our room which was the King ocean view suite we noticed that it was a little aged and maybe not quite what was advertised. Opening the curtains we could barely see the ocean because the amount of dirt on the outside of the windows which couldn’t open. Moving on the door looked like it was kicked in recently. Neither one of the two tv remotes both down volume and channel worked. Or the thermostat down button. Getting into the shower we noticed the lack of towels and wash cloths and found the dispenser in the shower was completely empty. We are not a super critical couple and will normally roll with the punches but come on. Based on the single night stay in town we just put up with the situation and continuously made jokes about it. We also had gotten another room for my mother in law which was a little cleaner and the remote worked. So thanks for that at least. At checkout the manager was rude and unwilling to listen to my issues with my accommodations not even asking for a discount or refund. We will not ever be returning to this property and will be using this as reference joke for eternity.
