This hotel is in an ideal location, just behind Skier’s Plaza and near the civic parking lots. The ski locker self-storage was convenient. But the property is in desperate need of a redecoration; the rooms and hallways reek of early 80s Hot Dog era ski hotel, there are stains on the walls and carpets, and the pool deck is in disrepair. The pool never struck us as particularly clean. And our room was visibly filthy when we checked in, with hair and dirt all over the bathroom floors and garbage under the pullout couch. And they have a serious plumbing problem. None of the sinks in the room drained properly, and we had to call maintenance to unclog one and then the other toilet during our short stay. Our room was filthy enough that it made us question how clean the public spaces such as saunas or the restaurant could possibly be. We didn’t even try the restaurant because of that.

Our room was located right beside the construction area, and they were working even on weekends, so it was very noisy. I also informed the front desk that there was a trail of paper towels from the bathroom to the entrance of the Spaghetti Factory, but it was not cleaned when we pass by again. There was also spilled alcohol in the elevator, which I reported to the front desk, but it remained uncleaned even after a day. On a positive note, the location was convenient and easily accessible to the village.
