Book 175 St. Station hotels

I will stay there again.

I booked the room for my niece, her husband, and their 8 year old. They had nothing but praise! I noted myself that the bathroom is large for a NYC hotel. And I can say, after waiting in the lobby and lounge for them, sometimes for over an hour while they rested, that the public spaces are lovely, and the staff excellent. While they didn't use the bar, I sure did, and liked it so much that it's going to go into the rotation when I want to have a drink in the neighborhood. I especially liked the complimentary salami/cheese/etc. The breakfast vouchers were a nice touch, and it turns out that Mille-Feuille has breakfast croissants and the like as well as just pastries. Location is great. My niece got to make her pilgrimage to Zabars, and the express train at 72 and local at 79 make it very convenient to get around, not to mention the 104 bus stops nearby.

Had to call down. Get my room cleaned and bed made and change of towels. Poor management

Room was tiny and air conditioning did not work. Went to desk at 3am asking for a new room. Was told they didn't have one. They sent up an engineer to fix the a/c but it did nothing to help. Could not sleep at all it was so hot. In March. Hotel lobby is small. No food services. just a small bar. No meeting spaces. Gym is tiny also. The best thing about this hotel was the location. It was close to what we wanted to get to.

Great stay

The only problem of my stay was the there are only two elevator and sometime the wait is eccessive
