I stayed for two nights traveling on business and this was a nearby hotel. Area around is not the fanciest. Also, the rooms and facility aren’t bad but the trash in the bathroom was not emptied when I arrived (completely unacceptable).

Taj has great standards as I experienced in India and so I tried this hotel in Dubai. I was super impressed with the room, reception, service and overall experiences at this hotel. I would highly recommend staying here especially if you are staying in the JLT area.

Ideal location for Dubai Marina-side access while being in a walkable area with lots of outlets around. Great staff. Super friendly and professional, but the property was let down by noise coming into the bedroom from the hallway and adjacent room. Overall a well maintained hotel, but it was odd that no chargers were available on request. The AC was struggling to cool the room down - so much so that the last night I spent there I fell asleep feeling too warm. The AC resets to a default room temperature when the card was removed from its slot so you couldn’t cool the room down ahead of time before you returned. The TV system wasn’t user friendly for screen mirroring and simply didn’t show up on the airplay list. Joined room layouts have poor soundproofing between the two rooms where the door between them is so watch out for that if you can find an alternative.

Lovely hotel with clean rooms and impeccable decor. We really enjoyed the Shamiana restaurant for Breakfast & Lunch as well. It’s also a lot more affordable than some of the other 5-star hotels in the area. The only thing to watch out for is their travel/taxi service managed by Ali & Fahad. They tried to scam us knowing well we were foreigners and charge you a super premium on every ride. Avoid them under all circumstances as they take advantage of outsiders. We brought this to the Hotel Management’s attention & they were kind enough to accommodate us with a late checkout as severance, but the experience still left a bad feel in our hearts. Which is unfortunate because everything else at the Hotel was perfect. Overall I will give our stay a 4/5 stars. Cheers.
