There was no view of the beach from my room. Very disappointing. Their website would lead one to believe they were getting a beach view and the cost of the room was very excessive in my view. I did not have the breakfast, and I was provided with a coffee machine in my room, I just hope I wasn't charged extra for that..In the room, a $3.98 Snickers bar was $7.00. Just a bit over the line, don't you think. I loved the decor of surfing and the Privacy card was in the shape of a surfboard. They would not put my son's phone through to me. That night, a lovely desk attendant made a note on my file and the next day the call went through. First day was upsetting as he had to come to the hotel to see if I was ok.

Our first room was not cleaned and the staff immediately upgraded our room without any time waisted. Kids enjoyed the smores in the patio. Walkable distance to shopping and beach. Kind and attentive staff. Beautiful unobstructed view of the ocean from the room's balcony.

Upon arrival, I was able to change my room location so that I’d have a beachfront view. The upgrade was cost effective and it made a HUGE difference in my stay. I’ll definitely be coming back to this area and staying here.
