My family had a wonderful 5 night stay at this truly phenomenal hotel. The Capitol Hotel Tokyu was 5 star in every way. Highlights included beautifully appointed rooms (spacious and stylish, great views, very comfortable beds and incredible shower) and exceptional buffet breakfast. The location is perfect in the centre of Tokyo with two subway stations located directly beneath the hotel - from here you can quickly access Ginza, Harajuku, Shabaka, Rappongi and Shinjuku all reasonably short train trips away. Above all, I want to compliment the service which was truly incredible. Every staff member went out of their way to be kind and helpful to us. For example, I lost my iPad on Shinkansen train and the concierge worked for several days to track it down and get it couriered back from Osaka! My son has special dietary needs helped find him some gluten free food for breakfast. A huge thank you to everyone at the Capitol for a sensational stay.

We have been staying at this hotel for the past two years when we travelled to Tokyo, absolutely loved it! The rooms are spacious and cleaned!! It's walking distance to the Akasaka district which there's hundreds of restaurants to chose from. They have a lot of English speaking staff which I find helpful.

Amazing hotel in Tokyo. Our room was fabulous. Super spacious, comfortable bedding, all the room amenities you can ask for. The bathtub/shower was a hot. So big and amazing with great water pressure. Incredibly clean, great service, super quiet hotel convenient enough to metro stops but far enough from the crazy hustle and bustle of Tokyo’s busy areas. Loved the breakfasts and they had a super cool speak easy style bar to hang out in also. Highly recommend.

A fantastic hotel. The service was fantastic and the rooms (we had two adjoining rooms for our family) were spacious and had amazing views. We were sorry to leave and can't wait to return.

Amazing service, attention to detail, amenities, and buffet breakfast. My wife had a lovely time at their spa and we both enjoyed their well equipped pool area and gym. First time staying in Tokyo and the whole staff made us feel at home instantly. It felt like we were on a honeymoon all over again! Central location too, many places are walkable or a quick drive away. Highly recommended if you are travelling with a partner. This review is written by a Canadian :)

Classy hotel in a quiet yet convenient location for the main subway lines. Generous room sizes and helpful to have joining rooms for our family. Room amenities were great and the restaurants served delicious food, albeit at a fairly steep price. Would highly recommend a stay here if you want the convenience of transportation with a bit of peace and quiet after a busy day.

Excellent experience at the hotel. The connected rooms were perfect for us and our two teenage meds. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms are upscale and very clean. It is clear that the housekeeping staff are detail oriented and meticulous. Our stay at Capitol Hotel Tokyu rivals our experiences at The Four Seasons. Food and service were excellent at Origami for breakfast and Suiren for dinner. Will definitely stay here again.

Hotel was great- nice rooms and great staff. Fitness center was a little small- but not crowded and good equipment. Breakfast buffet was great- would add waffles or pancakes.

Loved our stay here. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and the accommodations were excellent. Having the metro line under the hotel was an added bonus. The one minor issue is that the surrounding area was not a vibrant as some of the other areas we visited. This is due to the govt building complex around the Hotel. It may also be that we did not explore this area enough in short visit (4 day). I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

The most amazing hotel, in the middle of city, next to the capital building! The staff is extremely friendly, service is impeccable, amazing facilities, right over train station.
