Take my advice and don't bother booking this hotel. The check-in process was chaos, with some people having to wait up to 3 hours for their room to be ready. The staff were not great and didn't really seem to care to help; it was all surface-level hospitality. Also, the fact that my bathroom ceiling was leaking and had flooded the floor didn't seem to warrant any sense of urgency. I called the front desk and housekeeping, but no one picked up. I called the concierge, and they were so nonchalant about it. I waited 10 minutes and had to chase them again. When the engineers finally came, I had to personally request housekeeping; otherwise, I would have been left with a wet bathroom. We didn't even get a call back to ask if everything was alright and to check if the problem had been resolved. Even on check-out, it was chaos, so I just did an express checkout and left. The room itself was dated, and the paint on the bed was chipped. In general, it hasn't been well-maintained. Considering how much they charge per night, it's astonishing how rubbish their service is. I have never experienced such bad service from a 5-star hotel, especially one that prides itself on provindimg 'ultimate luxury'.
