This was a good modern hotel with very nice bedrooms. It is conveniently located above a metro station. I would have appreciated more casual breakfast options (we ended up eating in Starbucks in the station as we didn't want a full sit down breakfast every day).

Rooms were sparse and dark. But they charged over $1,300 per night! Concierge did not have good dinner recommendations. - very average places they knew. And no help with trains. Breakfast buffet very average.

Fantastic hotel but beware if you go with kids

The Capitol is pretty much everything you can expect from a luxury five star hotel: it's clean, the staff is polite, helpful, smiling and the facilities are really new. Beds are comfortable. Location is fantastic, the subway access is within the building, and not too far from key places. Couple of things where I humbly think they can improve: 1) the breakfast is good but lacks a bit of choice. 2) meals and beds are not included for children... This one really grinded my gears: basically, I book a room that is advertised as "sleeps 4". The picture of the room only shows two single beds but there are mentions of rollaway beds so I don't worry too much. Upon arrival, the room indeed has two beds but with no additional beds. Not possible, despite plenty of room inside. So I had to have a surreal conversation with an embarrassed staff about how come a room that sleeps 4 can only have 2 small beds... They tried to help genuinely. But at the end of the day, my 2 kids had to sleep on the floor. For the price I paid, this was slightly hard to swallow. Hence 4 stars.
