The location and staff were great. The actual room was not good. Dust everywhere. No access to the balcony. The balcony door was covered with a dark plastic so even opening the curtains didn’t provide light. The splash pad for kids looked like it hadn’t worked for years.

They have construction going on around hotel which makes it very inconvenient. They also have work being done and if you have a balcony they tell you not to use it for that/those day to keep your curtains closed for privacy. Another thing we were sleeping had a suite and housekeeping open the door. I had to run out to door as though my child was in room. Sweet lady, polite and hardworking but this should not be done. Later her supervisor came to see her work. I found the disruption also annoying as we were trying to rest. The children’s water playground is completely closed which they do not disclose before booking. The pool is okay, it’s relaxing if people in area are quiet. But not in our experience loud obnoxious people were pool side. They also email you upon arrival that one of their entrances is out of order. I didn’t experience a difference since would take Ubers bc of the inconvenience of the whole hotel with construction around it. Also please be aware that you are not allowed to use their amenities after check out. I asked about using pool for an hour or two since our flight was much later in the day. They replied no use after check out. Keep in mind there are other hotels on the strip that have more amenities and you can use after check out. You can also use them even if your not a guest. So that’s a plus to stay somewhere else. I would say this place is a great location for those who want a break from the strip vibe all day. It’s also safe for children

Decent Hotel with a Hidden Agenda

The Polo Towers were a great affordable option on the Las Vegas strip but my experience was unusual overall. The front desk called me on the landline at 9am my first day, which was frustrating given that I checked in at nearly 1am the night before, with an offer to receive a “welcome gift” if I sat through a 90-minute presentation. They ended up giving me $250 in visa gift cards but only after I wasted over 5 hours of my time listening to a sales rep trying to get me to buy a timeshare at the Elara across the street. It ended up taking up most of my first day in Vegas, and my biggest regret was not walking out of there after the first 90 minutes had passed. If you choose this hotel, don’t make the same mistake I did and take advantage of its proximity to the Park MGM casino instead (a 5-minute walk across Las Vegas Blvd).

The hotel suite was very nice. No complaints. But a few comments that caused some inconveniences. - Elevator on right side only had 2 of 3 elevators working. So much delay going up and down. Especially for the pool. - Maybe a back vehicle entrance if possible versus the main LV blvd street where it’s pedestrian crossing and literally can take over 5 minutes to get out and onto the street due to high pedestrian activity.
