Polite and helpful staff. We had to change rooms first night because issues with tv. New room we got had faulty AC unit and had to call in the staff to change it. All in all good place to stay out of the noise and crowd. Great, safe parking garage if you are with a car.

Easy check in and check out. Friendly and welcoming team. I really appreciate having an iron and ironing board in the room. Not too far from the pier and easy to get to. This saved me just over 50% over shore front options that I booked the prior year

My wife had to have surgery and they let us check in early so she could do her prep for the surgical procedure. Staff was very accommodating for us. Clean, nice rooms and good parking below. Great restaurant Socalo downstairs that is excellent! The restaurant is one of the best eats I've had in a long time! Will be staying here again!

Not a particularly friendly welcome. No smiles. No engagement. No upgrade was offered despite being a VIP Parking cost not advertised upfront 17 dollars. Breakfast offering could not be described as a "healthy" one, consisting mostly of sugary foods.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They went above and beyond! Clean up rooms, I appreciated no rugs in the rooms. 30 minute walk to the Pier. Short walk to bus and metro. Good coffee and breakfast. Very reasonable rates for a great stay.

A great Hotel in Santa Monica where hotels nearby can run $400 a night. I chose this hotel a few blocks north of the ocean and saved a lot. I have stayed at a hotel in Santa Monica next to the ocean and to be honest the Gateway room was just as nice as the hotel that cost $200 more. It’s just as convenient to restaurants as the other place. I have found my new Santa Monica hotel.
