The only plus to this hotel is the location. It is a great location, located near a lot of K-town staples. The biggest issue is noise. You can hear everything. The walls are very thin and the windows let in all the noise from the street. You can hear all street noise, your neighbors, and house keeping, pretty much 24/7. Ear plugs are a must. Would not return here even though the location is good.

Had an absolutely wonderful first experience staying at the Hotel Normandie. My room was spacious, comfortable, and lovely, stocked with everything I needed for a work trip. I was thrilled to be in close access to Koreatown's amazing dining options and to have the Metro right across the street for easy transit (and delicious Cassell's food excellent Normandie Club cocktails without leaving the hotel). The staff were universally kind and helpful. Can't wait to come back!

My friends and I really liked this hotel. It is in the middle of LA, only a 20 minute drive or less from other neighborhoods or tourist spots. The neighborhood itself, Korea town, has lots of great restaurants and shops. The hotel has a great style and the staff was attentive and friendly. The room wasn't fancy but it was what we needed and the beds/bedding were surprisingly comfortable. I'd definitely stay here again.
