Nice staff and decent area. Better during the day. Rooms are clean and Valencia’s are great. It’s in downtown so it’s downtown vibes and people. Across from Vons is nice.

There are a lot of places to eat nearby and a VONS right across the street for groceries. You're less than a mile from the beach. The room was clean and the bed was comfy with three different types of pillows based on what you like (soft or firm). There is a fridge and a microwave. There are some updates that need to be made to the room and exterior. It's not the quietest area so take that into account.

I stayed here for one night before a race. It was very clean, the staff was present and pleasant, and its walkable to several areas in DTLB. I needed a cheap, clean, easy to navigate around hotel room and this served its purpose.

This place is run down 1 star. We felt the need to check for bugs. We felt unsafe as homes people slept in the hallway. Homeless congregating in the parking lot. Honest… this place could ruin your vacation if you planned by the Expedia photos. Thank God we only stayed one night.

You get what you pay for, hint: spend more

The only good things about this place was the location which is about a 10-15 minute walk from downtown Long Beach where there are several restaurants and music/festival venues. But the state of the hotel is atrocious. Cockroaches (saw one in my room scurry out from under the bed), homeless hanging out in alleyways right against the hotel, and feces belonging to who knows what right on the property. Bed was very uncomfortable and the “AC just blows slightly below my room temp”. Ended up staying here because I waited too late to book and that’s on me, but this place was gross. Save yourself the regret and book early + spend more, and don’t say I didn’t warn you
