Love the large lobby area with great restaurant inside. Also very safe and convenient to school and hospital. But the room is VERY. The house keepers are only dusting the main area. Not very detailed. Room looks clean but quite dusty. Managers should check sometimes.

Perfect!

This hotel is amazing. We loved the restaurant and the rooms and to top it off, the location is perfect for a UCLA visit or LA in general. It’s conveniently located and still reasonably priced for a LA city center/urban hotel.

Do not stay here if your child is getting treatment at UCLA. There is NOTHING geared towards children at this hotel. I will say the hotel overall is very nice and clean, but the rooms are small. The on site restaurant has a very limited menu. They refuse to serve you between the hours of 10-11am, as they transition from breakfast to lunch??? An employee begrudgingly brought me toast for my son who needed food before his treatment at UCLA, as I dared to ask for breakfast at 10:15 am. Walls are paper thin. You can hear everything around you, so if you need to rest- that isn't going to happen. No gift shop for snacks or toiletries. Finally- zero TV programing. Id be generous calling it basic cable. If you have a child who would hope to watch a movie as a way to relax- that's not going to happen. Im sure this place is fine if you work at UCLA or need night to stay visiting your college kids or doing business. Do not stay here for medical treatment.

Unresolved Issue

While enjoying a much-needed spring break, I checked in wearing my usual off-duty attire — which included a signed Kendall Milton #2 Georgia Bulldogs jersey. Kendall, a two-time National Champion, is now a Cincinnati Bengal. My room, otherwise lovely, overlooked the UCLA football practice field. I was thrilled to relax, watch the team practice, and soak in the music playing in the background — though the playlist was full of loud, explicit lyrics (N, B, P, S my D) blaring across the field. Still, I was in my element: dancing, enjoying the view, and unwinding. That changed fast when security was called — apparently, someone believed I was a UGA football scout. As a 55-year-old, 5'4" divorced high school teacher, I found that both absurd and insulting. Things escalated when hotel staff told me to close my blinds because guests “aren’t allowed” to view spring practice. I complied — peacefully, always — but when I tried to draw the blinds, the cheap cords snapped. I was later charged $236 for the broken cord — despite the fact that I was only trying to follow their request. Security witnessed the entire thing. Adding insult to injury, I noticed a public hallway with a huge, unobstructed window looking straight onto the field — no blinds at all. So why charge a guest for cords, and why sell a room with a view if guests aren’t allowed to look out? It felt unfair, contradictory, and frankly disrespectful.
