No breakfast or ship transfers as advertised. Really dirty room with a heavy musty smell. Really not worth the stay. Kids said they would rather sleep in the streets.

We ended up leaving a couple hours after arriving and went to another hotel. This place is run down, the rooms and hallways are not clean and had bad smells. We did not feel safe at this hotel.

Not very good

Found out the next morning the window was open. We didn't open it. I was wondering why it was so cool in the room. BTW, the heater only blew cool/cold air with it on heater setting....so not working. No blankets in room, so had to ask for one and go down to desk to get it. They don't provide tissues in room. Use up the toilet paper folks. Oh yeah, in the morning, the toilet wouldn't flush so that wasn't pretty. Well it kinda half flushed. A tired and worn out property.

It was convenient access for our cruise. We stayed one night and that was more than enough. It is worn down and in need of a huge facelift. The curtains in our room looked like they were in a knife fight, and lost. Keep your expectations in line with the reviews.

Walking distance to cruise port. Outside of property is well kept. Price is good. Rooms are not maintained and front desk always has a back in 20 minutes sign.

Don’t stay here if you have a choice.

“A Pre-Cruise Adventure (of Questionable Safety and Hygiene)” At first glance, this hotel looks… okay. Not great, but passable. Then you step inside, and that’s when the journey begins. The first thing you notice is that one of the lobby doors is broken—Red Flag #1. The second thing you notice is the smell. It’s hard to describe, but it lingers. Like stale air, old carpet, and regret. Behind the check-in desk sits a silent clerk, encased in thick plexiglass. He does not greet us. He does not acknowledge our presence. Red Flag #2. The lobby boasts massive stained-glass windows, which feel wildly out of place in this 2-star (extremely generous) establishment. The floor has seen unspeakable things—possibly a crime scene, possibly just decades of neglect. The walls are mysteriously full of holes, because apparently, drywall is optional. Red Flag #6. Then there’s the elevator. An old, rattling contraption that screams (literally) with every floor. It feels like it’s either going to snap and plummet, or ascend to an alternate dimension. Red Flag #11. The hallway upstairs greets you with the aroma of stale smoke and dead cats. A window stands open and refuses to close—Red Flag #27—because who needs security? The door to our room is covered in deep scratches, and the room itself smells, has holes in the walls and the sink leaks. We had a security issue at 4am and received no help. This place is unsafe for female travellers. Do not recommend.

Rooms were somewhat renovated but still rough condition. TV and back of door had markings carved into them. Tub had big spots were the ceramic was gone and rust was exposed. Bed was good quality and with good furnishings though

This old and rundown hotel has a great location, particularly for cruise ship clients. A faulty sink drain in the bathroom caused water to be on the floor not only in the bathroom, but in the rest of the room. Their solution was to place a wastebasket under the sink. When taking a shower, I ended up standing in 4 to 5 inches of water. A total rehab is necessary.

The room reflects the price. Run down dingy room and bathroom. It did have clean sheets a refrigerator and a decent tv. I did have a big issue with getting a refund for my last night that I didn’t end up using. Front desk said yes, they would absolutely refund me, processed and gave me a receipt. Then, allegedly, the hotel wouldn’t pick up Expedia’s phone call to give them the green light on refunding and sending funds. They picked up instantly when I called, so I’m not sure if this was actually true or not. Unfortunately Expedia was rude and unhelpful in regards to my refund too. Very disappointing.

Convenient hotel for Los Angeles cruise port.

The property needs some maintenance. The room was large and the parking rate was reasonable. The bedding cover was lightweight and it would have been nice to have a blanket for some warmth. The location was perfect for an overnight stay before a cruise out of the port of Los Angeles.

Conditions right from the get go were horrible, disgusting, filthy, and I can go on and on. The lobby was filthy and you can smell a pesticide smell like it was just sprayed. We get to are room and it even smelled worse. My wife goes into the restroom and bugs were scratching to hide. At this point we are having second thoughts. My wife jumps in shower and right off the back the tub doesn’t drain and she taken a shower in filth. Then she gets out and then she sees a huge bug come out from underneath the bed. That was it we walked out and checked in at the Double Tree Hotel down the road. Expedia should be a shamed of them selves for letting this place be on their list of options. I tried to get my money back from Expedia but they didn’t give me a chance to show pictures or wasn’t going to give me the full amount which was $125 shame on you
