We stayed here for a night before leaving on a cruise out of Long Beach terminal. It was no thrills but served our needs, was clean, and mostly comfortable. We paid to park during our cruise which was a huge perk as well.

For the area, it's actually pretty nice. Room was clean, no insects, good toilet paper, friendly staff, and a pool! It could use some renovations, but nothing that would worry u, like newer light switches and outlets, update the lighting, etc. Otherwise, the price is pretty good for the nice stay. My wife said the mattress was too firm, but I like firm.

We asked for more pillows at the front desk. The person at the office was upset because we bothered their phone call. They did let room dervice know and a very pleasant housekeeper brought us more pillows

The rooms are always clean. Pool is always refreshing and the staff are always friendly. Quick 10 min drive to anything downtown which I love! I stay here all the time.

This motel was a mix of good and not-great. It had free parking that was very close to the motel. The swimming pool appeared clean, and we saw a family having a good time in the pool. The ice maker worked. The room we were given appeared very clean. However, both the beds in our room were hard as a rock. I mean, so hard that it made it difficult to sleep. The air conditioner cooled the room, but somehow didn't make it any less humid. (It had been a hot and very humid day.) The result was that after a while, the sheets felt unpleasantly moist, even though they were cool, and that made it hard to sleep as well. Check-in itself was interesting, with the motel clerk behind what appeared to be bullet-proof glass, like a gas station. He asked for an ID for ALL the members of our party, which I've never experienced before. The streets in that area didn't appear to be dangerous or sketchy, but the motel's precautions made us wonder. Overall, if you want a place with a nice little pool and don't mind a very hard bed, this might be a great stay for you. But we were not fans.
