Front desk staff, housekeeping, and valet were wonderful!! Knowledgeable, efficient, and kind. The room was clean, quiet, and had plenty of beverage options. The fireplace was the perfect addition to the room for those cold nights! However, the bed was not the most comfortable. Also a bit disappointed that we couldn't request a microwave due to the hotel being 4 stars. You had to go to the front desk with your food item to get it microwaved and to me, that's just tasteless. I guess I've been spoiled by Fontainebleau thinking I could get whatever my heart desires. Overall it was a very memorable stay. Spectacular views and excellent service.

I can’t say enough about the staff! Everyone was so helpful and kind. The entire facility was squeaky clean. Our room, #439, was a corner room with an actual balcony with chairs, a view of cannery row and the bay. Because it was a corner room, it was bigger with a very large bathroom. Nice workout facility and pool too! Walking distance to good restaurants and a mile or two to excellent non-touristy eateries - Monterey Fish House & The Sand Bar on pier 2, so lots of options. We highly recommend the Intercontinental!

The proximity to everything was amazing! Sadly the staff confused vegan for vegetarian, and it was difficult to find food in the area. I would stay again, but be better prepared.
