Actual room was nice and clean, breakfast was nice and simple. Location was decent. hallways had a weird smell. Area is full of homeless people. Don’t get a room that’s next to the main road as you’ll be up all night due to car engine noise. WiFi didn’t work.

Once you enter the hotel, it’s nice: freshly renovated, nice rooms, nice staff. But man, the surrounding area is absolutely terrible: homeless land, smell of human waste everywhere, human feces at every step on the sidewalk, … not the hotel fault at all, but it’s an area of SF that you want to avoid at all costs. Shame, cause again the hotel itself is really nice

Ehhh. Mostly about location

It worked for the concert we were seeing but the rooms are very small, like euro micro hotel style. The bathroom was as big as the actual room portion. The valet was a weird set up. You have to park in the ally next door and your car is parked blocks away in a parking area, I recommend calling for you car prior to walking down. There were multiple events in the city so a lot of hotels were booked. I was disappointed n the price of over $300 for what we got but it was the only option.

Hotel EPIK is a great spot for a quick overnight in San Francisco. There are two parking spots to unload your stuff on a one-way street around the corner from the entrance. Unfortunately, our room was not available until 4:30 - an hour and a half after it was supposed to be ready. After a three-hour drive and we were late for an event, it wasn't the best experience. The neighborhood isn't great, but it's a city and that's the way it goes.

I booked this hotel for 1night only. There is no parking so a fee of $52 to valet is needed and you can’t be out past 10pm to use it. The property is right next to a shelter that feeds the homeless so they are all around. The homeless are doing drugs, fighting etc. The rooms are way smaller than they appear and we heard gun shots very close to us in the wee hours of the morning. It’s a cute place effected by things out of there control
