Four stars for value (but no luxury and kind of small spaces) Lots of traffic on Polk sirens and nightlife music but the room had the basic needs, and they had some nice donuts, oatmeal or fruit/yogurt for breakfast and a coffee machine so convenient to have that. No frills but clean and nice helpful staff.

Great Stay with One Big Hiccup "I really enjoyed the hotel itself! The place is lovely and kept super clean, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in. My room was on the smaller side, but I know they have more spacious ones available. A quick tip on the neighborhood: It's definitely improving (I walked through in 2023 and it was worse), but you still need to be aware. My advice is to walk straight down to Market Street to get to Union Square or the Financial District, and I'd suggest avoiding Turk, Eddy, and Ellis streets. Now, for the one big issue. We had a really rough night with a disruptive guest that led to the police being called. The disturbance lasted from 11 p.m. to 3 a.m., and because the walls are a bit thin, I heard everything and got no sleep. The good news is that the staff handled it the next morning and the disruptive guest was removed. My only real disappointment was that management never reached out to me or the other affected guests. A simple 'Sorry you went through that' would have gone a long way. It's not a dealbreaker, but it was a missed opportunity to show great customer care."

It was very affordable, and close to city hall which had a big bus stop there making it easy to catch. TV was a little bit to understand but when we figured that out it was easy to work. Nice little breakfast set up for a quick bite. No refrigerator so we made a make shift cooler. If you are there for any length of time, Find a cheap ice chest for cold drinks. Overall was a nice place to stay.

The hotel itself is ok, my husband and I weren’t there to spend time inside the room. The room itself was very small, no dresser or drawers to put anything away (the two nightstands didn’t fit much and were IKEA rule furniture, very flimsy). We got what we paid for, a clean bed and bathroom/shower. Would we stay here again? No! The area the hotel is located in is one of the worst areas filled with sketchy people in the streets, zombies as they call them. Unfortunately, San Francisco did not leave a great impression and have no desire to come back.

First off know it’s 52$ to have you car valet parked. There are no parking lots around that are safe or allow over night parking. The rooms are pretty small. Queen bed felt more like a double and was very uncomfortable. It sunk into the middle and made it very unpleasant for my wife and myself. Cool views of drug dealers doing their thing as well. Tv didn’t work when we got into the room. Front desk guy had to come and have me help him take the tv off the wall. And fix it. The free breakfast is mini danish and some oatmeal. Nothing to write home about. Biggest plus is the shower is actually decent for taller people.
