Where to stay on game day

The hotel was very clean. Some staff gave conflicting answers when asking about parking on site. There are inconsistencies with what they tell guest regarding rooftop restaurant. We should have made a reservation. They told us it was open to the public, but we had to have our room key to gain access. No room key, no access. Overall we will stay again. Just hope staff can be more consistent with information.

We love the place. The only negative we would discuss is that you can't watch Giants games in your room.

Great Location for a Price

Hotel Via is a great location to stay for a Giants game, but for the price the experience could be better. For example, the parking should be for a 24 hour period-like the other nearby hotels. Hotels.com also made a big deal about Hotel Via offering VIP perks, but we weren't offered any perks.

We booked an Embarcadero view room and ended up with a room looking out into a brick building and garbage cans. Cool seeing Giants players in the Elevator and Lobby. The room was average you pay for the location which can’t be beat!
