The first room we were given (310) was awful. The inside door lock didn’t work, and the tub drained so slowly you had to stop mid shower so it didn’t overflow. I went down to ask for a new room, was given a new room number and key, and then the front desk lady came up to show us that the shower worked. Which wasn’t the problem, as we tried to explain, but it didn’t seem like she understood what our problem was.
The room we got instead (306) was MUCH better, almost like it was a different hotel entirely. Locks worked, fridge had a freezer section, shower drained and the room was just overall in better shape.
The problem with any city hotel is all the noise in the area - in this case a dog that started yapping at 5am and never stopped until we checked out.
Was cheap, and we got what we paid for. Wouldn’t stay again.
