Though the room was small, it was very clean and well planned. We didn't miss anything, it was quiet, relaxed, nice tea/ coffee maker, great shower - all you need. Perfect location to either walk to all msin site or 1 min to tube station. Great pool for morning swim - perfect for me / us. Very helpful with late - free !!!- check out and looking after our bags. Would definitely come back again !

Hotel located next to the MRT and was within walking distance to Hawker Centres, many other restaurants and Bugis which is very convenient The room is very small even for 2 people

Was surprised when we arrived at hotel at 10.30am they let us check in at no extra charge! Totally awesome as we just got off our cruise! Room is your typical small room. Everything was clean. Nothing thing that was strange is they only provide bath towels. No hand or face towels. It was the only place during our 3 week vacay we needed an adapter. Didn’t have one but luckily they had extension and adapter to borrow which was nice. Super close to transit. Literally 1/2 block away. Bencoolen area is so central. Close to lots of food options, shopping etc! Bugis street, hawker centre, etc! My friends opted for breakfast option which meant they went to the restaurant next door and had the buffet. Didn’t cost too much to add.

Room was noisy from corridor talks and loud neighbours, but no disturbance from the street in front (great window insulation). My bedroom was tiny, 14m2 was definitely claustrophobic. Otherwise, the staff were great, cleanness was unquestionable, there was a small shallow outdoor pool, and location was the absolute best. I'd say you get what you pay for if you're looking for budget short-stay (3 nights).

MRT train just next door made it so easy to take our luggage (2checked,2carry on) via MRT Bencoolen to Airport Changi. Bathroom was not clean. Had single hair by the sink and the complimentary slippers were stained. Room was small, but we were outside most of the day; it didn’t matter

Awesome location. It is literally next to the MRT. The loft room was perfect for our family of 3. The staff was very kind and responsive throughout our entire stay. Thank you to Ivy for helping us and keeping our room spotless!

The staff was exceptionally helpful. Special thank yous to Ivy and Henry. Very clean hotel in a very good location with easy access to MRT and busses. They have access to washing machines and dryers and brought up an iron and ironing board to our room.

In September 2025, we stayed at V Hotel Bencoolen in Singapore for 3 weeks. The hotel had friendly staff, hotel was very clean, and staff wad always present/ available at the front desk (I believe 24 hours all day). The room was very small but as expected/ also common for some Asian countries. Swimming pool and washing/ drying machines are on the 1st floor (front desk can change money for coins to be used for the machines). Next to hotel, there is a restaurant, not sure if it's part of the hotel since we didn't include breakfast with our stay but this restaurant offers a la carte menu and buffet option, the buffet changes menu on a regular basis (regular prices). Very convenient location and very safe location. The mass rapid transit (MRT)/ subway is almost next to the hotel so it was very, very, very convenient (no you can't hear the subway so this was great). Near the hotel there is an inside hawker center (a community place with several food stands/food court/food hall). There was 1 day when an investigation fire alarm rang several times, not sure what happened on the hotel but other than that day our stay at this hotel was great. We had a wonderful experience.
