A My wife and I recently spent two nights getaway in the Novotel Darling Harbour. We were very impressed with the hote and its facilities. The staff in all areas, reception, restaurant, bar, coffee shop and the cleaning staff were extremely welcoming and very friendly. The room was a good size, not a shoebox like the rooms in a couple of other hotels we’ve stayed in, and was really clean. The buffet breakfast was awesome, with a fantastic selection to choose from. The Hotel itself is a stones throw from Darling Harbour with a short walk through the carpark, which is conveniently located under the hotel. I will definitely stay at this hotel again during my next visit to Sydney.

Check in was a debacle, I was given 3 different check in times by 3 staff members. our room was filthy, bathtub was full of hair, place had not been cleaned. Downstairs area stunk like sewage. horrible stay, will never stay again.

Nice enough hotel. Spacious rooms. Nice views, which will soon be lost with the new residential tower development. But for a room costing $400 a night there was no minibar, no breakfast, and a queen bed lost in a big room. Won't go back

A wonderful Hotel

This is our 2nd.. stay at the Novotel Syd. Darling Harbour, and after the 1st. time, I thought it couldn't get any better, but it did. When we arrived in our taxi w e were met by a very friendly staff member to load our luggage onto a trolley to take into the Hotel for us. As I had Checked-in online before we left home, all I had to do was go to the Reception Desk, pick up the Room Key for the room already allocated and from then on everything was carried at with efficiency and friendliness. It was like a home from home atmosphere. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone wanting cleanliness, a comfortable room and friendly staff.

I booked queen deluxe room and the first impression of going into the room was “what! The bathroom was with accessible chair and toilet was all bubble up to the seat. I couldn’t sit and use toilet. The room was too dim to look around where my things were, the amenities were too limited to stay. The room atmosphere was really awful I can only use bed in that room. I was surprised how come I book a room like this when paying the same rate as other hotels. I didn’t request for such an accessible room. I requested to change the room and finally got a room with normal hotel vibe room. The reception staff who checked me in or who allocated that room needs to be mindfully working.

The position of the property is great for getting around Sydney The staff were all helpful and friendly. It was no trouble to leave our bags withe concierge while we did more sight seeing on our last day. To be honest, nothing seemed too much trouble for any staff...Great service!

Room was ok, but as a family of 4 booking, there was only 1 chair to share & 2cups for hot drinks. The Room Attendants left our door open/unlocked two days in a row, which was very concerning considering our belongings were inside while we were out & about! We enjoyed our stay other than these few things
