Hotel is at a great distance from circular quay, 500 metres with a stroll to Wynyard station, convenient late night stores and two blocks only toshopping at Westfield. Staff helpful and happy A good breakfast at an incredible price. Will I stay again?? …. absolutely.

I found the self check in unhelpful, no guidance/ direction/ explanation of facilities No room at the bar for guests to get a drink Broken down coffee machine, very limited dietary options & discussions about dietary options flagged the same response from several staff … you have to pay 🙄 Staff were generally unhelpful I think Rydges need to smarten their act at this new Rydges property Won’t be staying again

Close to Circular Quay this hotel is modern and comfortable. Breakfast good choices. Our room was quiet and a big bonus we were allowed a 2 hour late check out. Only criticism is that there is not a lot of drawer space for clothes. Overall a great one night stay before our international flight.

Sad it’s been re branded Rydges. Tank Stream Hotel is a more Boutique name and preferable. Room could at least have had bedside tables with drawers.

The hotel was ok. Rooms are very small. There was incentive of free drinks upto $10 if you did not request cleaning the room. One of the days they did not clean the room but they refused to give $10 drinks because we had incorrect sign on the door even though the room was not cleaned. That was a cheap shot by the hotel even though their prices are high, they did not clean the room -

Room is too small. Weird placement of coffee machine (inside cabinet). Not too much table or space to put personal belongings. No gym. No readily available microwave oven in lounge area. Plus side, it’s cbd area. Close to everything.
