This is my third time staying here. The last time was 2012. I don’t think the rooms have been updated in this time and could do with a refresh. They are small and feel smaller through dated furniture. Location is great - very close to the action but quiet for sleeping. Would probably stay elsewhere if returning unless rooms are refreshed.

Called to ask for a trolley or a porter service to push our luggage down but was told we have to send it down ourselves as they do not provide such services. When I checked out, there were a couple of trolleys parked just right infront of the front desk. I think the lady who picked up the call on 13 Jan at about 10.15am should be investigated for her unprofessional attitude in handling a customers request this simple. This is definitely not a professional attitude coming from a nice hotel like this. If she cannot offer basic manners, I do believe that a service oriented job is not suitable for her. I have also informed a guy who handled my check out process and he seemed absolutely apologetic on this even though it was clearly not his fault. Please vet through your team again to prevent such mishaps from happening.
