No charm, but excellent hub for transportation
Tokyu Stays are not all the same. We stayed in them from Sapporo to Fukuoka so I believe I know what I'm talking about. This Tokyu Stay has a lovely cafe in the front that's open for a limited time for breakfast and in the afternoon for lunch. The best part of this hotel is that it's located across the street from a new JR station that has the Yamanote line and the JK line. It's also very close to bus lines that will take you all over the city easily and one of the lines is the first pick up which ends in Shibuya. So at the very least for transportation, this is wonderful hotel. There's not much around the hotel; even the 7-11 is a good 10 minute walk, but there a Daily Yamazaki around the corner about 4 mins away. It's a perfect hotel for those who care mostly about having easy access to transportation and a quiet place to return home to. There is construction across the street that isn't noisy, but it does affect your walking path especially if you choose to walk to Tamachi instead of taking the JR lines. As with all Tokyu Stays I find the beds very hard, but that's a matter of preference. The washer/dryer was exactly what we needed during our stay as it was in the summer and our clothes needed to be washed almost daily. The staff was very helpful when we needed a ride to the airport and helped us flag down a taxi as the driver missed the hotel even when we ordered the ride via an app. Overall, if I were with family again, I would choose to stay here.
