Note this property is cashless. Laundry facilities are coin operated hence not cashless. Travellers who wish to use these facilities should have $1 coins with you as reception and bar area cannot exchange physical money. Suggestion for this hotel is to have laundry converted to cashless system. Refrigerator not running when we arrived after a long drive. We figured it out and had to pull it out and turn on. No biggy but frustrated. Positive is comfy beds, pillows and complimentary breakfast was a bonus. Lots of variety.

The property is situated on acres of lovely bushland and very serene. Upon walking into the reception area I was impressed and Natalie, who greeted me and booked me in was excellent. I got a map of the complex and easy directions on how to get to my room. On the back of the map was the restaurant menu which seemed very nice, so I was looking forward to dinner. First impressions of the room were good and when I saw the QR code on the inroom menu with a room service option, I thought great! I scanned and saw that half the menu was sold out (surprising since it was only 5.15pm) but they had what I wanted so I put it all in the cart and went to check out. It then told me they don't do online orders, which was strange as they had a QR code to place the order. So I walked to the restaurant to place my order. I went to the bar and was expecting the staff member there to assist me. Instead she continued to text on her phone for a good 5 minutes before even acknowledging that I was there. I went to place my order but she pointed to a piece of paper on the bar which had maybe 6 menu items on it and I was told that's all they were offering, plus they don't do room service!! I left. I expressed my disappointment to Natalie who suggested I order Uber Eats. I went back to my room and realised I don't have cutlery so could only order finger food. Needless to say I was not impressed. On the upside, the bed was very comfortable and the AC was excellent. I probably won't go back.

Not just your usual hotel stay-Better

Was different to your usual boring minimalist hotel. Was archictectually designed meaning it had character with modern influence. Undercover parking. Surrounded by trees and golf course so serene. Pool bigger than it looked in photos. Spa was toasty.

Eden Oak was a really good place to stay inl East Geelong. Set in parklands, close to the bay, with a range of facilities for families with children and an excellent restaurant. I will definitely be going back.

This is an interesting property set back in local parks. The staff were very helpful and nice. There were no restaurants or other shops in walking distance but the parks were beautiful. Our room was small and the property contains many steps. We were disappointed that the jacuzzi was not hot.

Beautiful location - quality accommodation

We enjoyed our stay in this wonderful oasis! Quality rooms and peaceful environment. Natalie on reception went out of her way to make sure our arrival went smoothly. Wish we had more time to enjoy all the facilities. Restaurant and bar facilities were a welcome bonus after our late arrival.

We had a great stay at Eden Oaks. We were pleasantly surprised by the airy midcentury modern architecture. Our room had been beautifully renovated, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The entrance from the parking looked a bit sad though. I hope they get round to renovating it soon as this is a beautiful building. The Thai restaurant was absolutely amazing. Beware though, the portions are huge!

The dinner options were limited for a vegetarian. There wasnt a single choice that didnt have meat. The kitchen did do me a vege pad thai however.
