The airport shuttle staff were very kind and helpful, although, they can be very crowded depending on when you arrive. In the morning, it was not too crowded when I left, but in the afternoon, we were very crowded. On arrival, there were two people at the check in counters and I was walking up at the same time as another person. We were directed to one particular counter and I went to this counter with the other person. At some point the person was what I experienced as quite rude, and asked me to step aside for other people. I am not sure if it was because if I was woman, the color of my skin, or what, but I told him I am here to check in, then he changed his tone, and did apologize, but what in the heck did he think I was there for other than to check in? I was on the 8th floor and the hallways smelled slightly mildewy or musty but the room was very clean and quiet. I had just spent 5 weeks traveling in Europe and had breakfast at all places so the quality of the food was a bit of a let down. The friendliness of the staff made up for it. The check out also went smoothly. The ride to the airport was also with someone very cordial and friendly. I usual rate higher than most people I think and give most places 5 or 4 stars, but I think that unkind welcome after an 11 hour flight from Paris, the wait for the shuttle, and the crowdedness of the shuttle really left a sour taste. I won't stay here again, but then again, for one night, it met my basic needs.

The staff at this hotel was rude. We had one nice gentleman help us during the day when our room keys stopped working. Everyone else that we encountered was not friendly. It was frustrating when our room keys stopped working, not just once, but twice.
