Parking is too expensive and shuttle driver was rude and she was so unprofessional did no want to transport anyone with a bigger suitcase didn’t help at all.

The airport shuttle was nothing short of woeful - the airport was incredibly busy but we waited nearly 40 minutes for the shuttle to arrive and when it did it was packed. We saw several different hotel shuttles pass by several times whilst we were waiting. On top of this we were told when we checked in we could have a late check out of 2 hours free of charge, this turned out not to be true when I went to confirm this in the morning of a our check out day. This was incredibly frustrating. During our stay between 10-11:30pm there was very loud drilling, we weren’t sure if this was coming from outside or actually in the hotel itself but it was very disruptive when we were trying to get to sleep.

Waited an hour for the shuttle from the airport....didn't say Hilton garden inn, just said Spectrum on the shuttle. I called twice to hotel, and didn't tell me it would say Spectrum, not Hilton garden inn until an hour later.

Housekeeping never came, they didn’t have towels on their cart, the parking is super inconvenient due to the key cards that no one tells you about and the staff was NOT friendly at all. Bedding was scratchy and the pillows were horrible. The property is attractive but the hospitality isn’t on brand for Hilton.

Several missing items on the dinner menu; when room was not serviced after our first night, three calls to the front desk went unanswered and when we went down to the desk, staff was unfriendly and acted as if we shouldn't need clean towels or our room serviced. He was hesitant to give towels after we went down to get them. On the last night night of our stay a staff member entered our room at midnight and did not apologize or identify themselves when we said someone was in the room. When we went to the front desk to checkout and mentioned that someone had attempted to enter the room at midnight, the staff member indicated that he was checking to see if maid service had been completed. When we questioned why that was being done at midnight and without trying to call the room or identify himself, he acted as if he had done nothing wrong. Another staff member took our room number, but there has been no follow up from hotel management. Although breakfast vouchers were purchased for our stay, the hotel has no options available if your flight leaves before their limited breakfast hours.

The room (1king size bed) when we opened it was exceptionally small, there were wrappers on ground by bed frame, found two earwig bugs crawling around, the shower corners haven’t looked to be cleaned, and the overall feeling was not to touch anything or fear of if you do that it wasn’t clean. The check in was ok once they managed to find my reservation after repeatedly showing my confirmation email/payment. Just an uneasy feeling overall for a Hilton experience. Would rather spend the small extra amount and stay at HILTON LAX a block or so down the same street.
