Very nice clean hotel with nice view. Didn’t like the valet price. TV had a black line through it. Left over food from previous customer in fridge. Other than that everything else was perfect.

I had an incredible experience at this hotel. Firstly, the service from the staff is amazing; the valley at the door help with your bags, all the way to packing them in/out of the car, the receptionists are very friendly and accommodating. The hotel room itself was huge, had a very cute balcony, and the views were amazing. You could see the city, mountains and the ocean. It was very clean and comfortable, including the hotel robe. The pool was nice and warm and clean every day. Very walkable to the pier and shops around Santa Monica. If I come back, this is definitely the hotel I would choose again.

Did not like the stay due to many reasons but mostly the fact that I had a five month old with me and needed just a bottle of water at night and I couldn’t get one from the hotel was unbelievably disrespectful and I have never experienced that at any hotel before shame on you!

Liked the view from the balcony. Though we could easily see into the balconies below us, due to the shape of the building. Didn't like that only valet parking was available, for $60+/night. Park at Civic Center instead, it's like 2 blocks away. It was a pretty long walk to the Santa Monica pier, but it's a decent neighborhood. Art Deco city hall building, a park with art in it, tree-lined streets, etc. Google told us that they have a sauna & jacuzzi, but they don't. FYI.
City hall is nearby (and a police station with a lot of cop cars coming & going).

The hotel was very clean, and had complimentary deodorant, beach towel rentals, and bicycle rentals. The front desk workers were always polite and helpful with your questions.
