Maybe a 3 1/2….

Very good location and friendly staff. Ownership has a tight budget. Old mattress, ac at night will not cool down. TV a joke. Only free Spectrum channels, no news channels or national networks.Old furniture etc. Then in addition $47 a night parking they add a $35 a night resort fee. Nice place but low value at end of day.

Decent enough. Staff friendly. Cute lobby and pool area. Room: meh. “pool view” was really of adjacent building roof air conditioner units. Nothing like the excellent quality of their sister property, Silverlake pool and Inn.

Loved almost everything. One of the four mornings, at 8a (!) the hotel started loud pressure washing. I mean, at over $500 per night, let your guests sleep in peace. It’s perfectly understandable that the hotel needs to “rinse off” regularly but please save it to past noon. The one redeeming thing was they pretty quickly shut it off when we complained. So that’s nice.

Great spot for a chill LA stay

Loved the vibe. Comfy rooms and staff was great. Housekeeping seemed a bit under staffed, but I imagine the ICE raids in LA have had an impact there. Sweet but very small pool. Biggest downside was the food - very limited menu and limited hours.
