It was OK :)

Staff were amazing; very helpful and friendly. Location is a little further out from the MRT station but still very good in terms of amenities. What wasn't so great was: 1) The cover sheet on the bed had a hole 2) The shower would flood the whole loo and 3) I wasn't able to work out the air conditioning unit but on hindsight, I could have rung the front desk for help. However, as it was my last night, and I was too tired, so I left it.

There is totally no drop off or pick up point and no shelter. Will get drenched going up a cab when it rains. Worst if one need to load luggages

Decent affordable room

The room was nice but quite small, no problem for a solo traveller though. The bed was very hard, so not that comfortable. Otherwise, pretty good and very affordable room in a good location surrounded by restaurants.

Hotel lobby and the staff were really nice. Location is awesome on Joo Chiat Road, loads of bars/ restaurants etc. However the room was absolutely tiny, ok for a place to crash but not ideal for a longer stay.

I booked this hotel through Expedia, but the room description was misleading. There was no mention of the room having no window or being so incredibly tiny. With just two carry-ons, it was almost impossible to move around. In Japan, hotels typically list the square footage, so you know what to expect—unfortunately, that wasn’t the case here. The bathroom design was shocking. The toilet seat was so close to the glass divider that sitting down was nearly impossible. Whoever designed it must have a sense of humor! To make matters worse, the bath water was not hot, and the overall room temperature was freezing. The control panel didn’t work, and despite calling the front desk multiple times, they barely did anything to resolve the issue. The bath design also caused water to flow under the sink, creating a huge mess every time we used it. The customer service was equally disappointing. When I requested a room change—a fair request given the issues—I was met with a dismissive “this is what it is” response, with no apology or effort to address the situation. This stay was far below expectations. Between the poor design, cold room, unhelpful staff, and misleading listing, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I really enjoyed my stay here but all I can say that its downfall was, was the bathroom shower. I had to use a folded up towel to stop the water from leaking through the shower door. But aside from that, the housekeeping was good, the room was good and the staff were friendly.
