Located near several subway lines, this hotel was a great find! It's in a relatively quiet neighborhood with several conveniences within a 1-2 block radius, including a post office, several convenience stores, cafés, and even a small but well-stocked grocery store.
The immediate area seems to be mostly textile-related businesses (a few shops but nothing overly exciting), office buildings, apartments and condos. Very few houses. There were a few Instagram-worthy spots (streetviews of the Tokyo Skytree, small local shrines, etc.) but no major attractions. The closest well-known area is Akibahara, which was about a 20-minute walk away. Walk a bit further and you'll reach the Ueno Zoo.
The rooms were small but impeccably clean. They give you a bag of clean robes, towels and other items every day (even if you don't need them), and they do a deep clean every 3 days. If all the APA facilities are run the same, I'd be happy to book with them on my future visits!
