There’s no free transportation from hotel to HND airport. The walk is long to any monorail station. The room is so small even for two tiny people, but is very clean.

Great service and amazing views

I absolutely loved staying here! Especially being able to use the onsen every night after a long day of exploring the city. I loved the street with all the amazing restaurants surrounded by locals. It was so much better then the main suburbs people go to. It was an amazing experience which is why I stayed there twice and I will definitely book it again next year.

Rooms are extremely small including bathroom. Almost no space for luggage unless you stored it under the bed which isn’t an option when you need an open suitcase. Nowhere was it specified the swimming pool was not included in the total price. 17US$ for an hour, yes, 17$ for an hour is an outrage. Half the times, forced to wait 5 mins or more for one of the six elevators, and most of the times, crammed in like sardines. Positive notes: Convenience store on the second floor Trains are 5 mins walk Restaurants and some museums are nearby

Great location. Easy to get to near by train stations. Next to the sumo stadium. Hotel has public bath and laundry room facility. Floor 18 might be the best foor to stay on. Both elevators go to that floor.

APA Hotel Ryogoku was a good hotel. Although my room was a bit small and the location was really far from Narita airport, the room was clean, the hotel was clean. They had great dining options and so much variety in their breakfast. They also have the restaurant on the 31st floor which I like, you get served full course meals by a chef. The hotel is a bit busy with lots of travelers so high foot traffic, if you like that. Front desk was always helpful and courteous. Taxis or Uber like taxis can easily pick you up out front. Location is good but far from the nightlife and younger crowds. They provided many toiletries and such. They also are keen on using technology to inform and direct customers, which is good. They tried to be informative about shopping options. Overall, a great place to stay.
