We totally live 8 nights. The staffs are very nice and helpful. There is airport bus stop in front of the hotel. The hotel helped us store the luggage’s by free of charge during we visited Kyoto. However their Gym room is charged.

Hotel Metropolitan Ikebukuro was a great choice! The location is super convenient—just steps from Ikebukuro Station and surrounded by restaurants and shops. The room was cleaned daily and always spotless. Staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel felt modern and comfortable. Would happily stay here again!

Very convenient for airport limo bus from narita and right across the street from ikebukuro station for easy transfer on trains. Breakfast Buffett is pretty good although to expensive at $31 cad. Staff is very accommodating and area is close to lots of restaurants

Ikebukoro is not in the most touristy area of Tokyo, but this hotel is literally a 2-minute walk to Ikebukoro subway/train station and we used the subway throughout our entire 4-day tour of Tokyo. This hotel was recommended to me by a friend who comes to Tokyo often. Quiet at night, super swanky bar on the Mezzanine level. Breakfast buffet each morning was over-the-top fantastic. My kids had a ball. The bell desk used Yamato to send our big luggage bags ahead to Kyoto for us (total cost $30 USD for 2 large bags) which allowed us to travel on the train to Kyoto with only small carry-on's. Also, the "Airport Limousine" bus to/from Haneda/Narita stops literally in front of this hotel. Very easy if you are taking the bus to/from your major Tokyo airport.
