The room was comfortable and the workers, from mgmt to the bell hop, were all polite and nice. We were looking for a wagyu dinner and mgmt was calling several restaurants and they were all booked. Then we called one in-house and walked us down to the restaurant to make sure we were given a table. What service!

Location is excellent, walkable to the station and within Yamanote line, means easy access arround Tokyo. Area is full of shopping and dining places, high and low, you dont have to go far. This was my third stay at the Ikebukuro Metropolitan and I wholeheartedly recommend it. Friendly, helpful staff, great amenities, an impeccably clean room and a location that is literally just a few steps away from the Ikebukuro station. 10/10 for me.
