First of all the positives. The staff were friendly and the hotel clean. Good position for metro and convenience stores . Room was a decent size. Negatives.....the room floors were wooden which was extremely painful to walk on after a long day. Our room only had one double plug socket and we could find. This meant as we had to use an adaptor we could only charge one device at a time. On a personal note I wasn't keen on the French music playing all the time.

Aesthetic choices override functionality

Pros: The hotel features beautifully designed rooms in an elegant European style. There's an on-site cafeteria that serves breakfast, adding convenience for guests. Cons: Breakfasts are overpriced at ¥35,000 per person. The rooms are very stuffy - windows are sealed and cannot be opened, so the only source of fresh air is the air conditioner, which blows uncomfortably cold air even when the outside temperature is mild (around 18°C). The room layout is extremely impractical. In a room with 2 beds, there is literally no space to open or store a suitcase. The furniture is fixed to the walls and cannot be moved to create more room. While the design prioritizes appearance, it lacks basic functionality. For example, the fridge is enclosed in a stand that's twice its size and includes a fake drawer, further wasting space.

This hotel is beautiful - so clean, and the staff are so kind and helpful. The hotel restaurant is gorgeous and the breakfast was the best I've ever had at a hotel. Loved everything about this place.

The hotel is very cute with a retro European feel. Staff were nice and spoke enough English to make check in easy for me. Our room was clean and we could fit 2 open suitcases in the room. There was a lot of "stuff" though on all the surfaces. Papers, amenities, etc. We had to gather it all up and set it aside in order to have room to put our own stuff on the table. The neighborhood is so central. Multiple train metro stops in all directions along with countless restaurants and all the shopping that is Ginza. Tokyo Station is maybe 15 or 20 minute walk. We walked it with our bags. A slight chore, but didn't take long. Very quiet at night. The only cons for me, is that breakfast seemed expensive. And no self-serve laundry, so I carried it 10 minutes to the nearest laundromat. Not a deal breaker. I'd recommend it.
