Book Kimpton Hotels East Village accommodation from NZ$277

Our stay was great. We arrived well before check-in time, but we were offered early check-in for $25, and we only had to wait about 10 minutes. We had a very short stay, but the room was great, AC worked well, and the staff was very helpful.

The Hotel Edison is in a great location right next to Times Square and surrounded by Broadway theaters. The hotel itself is clean and sufficient - the rooms are just like most in NYC - small - but we'll laid out. Unfortunately our room was right behind the elevators so it was a little noisy, though we were exhausted every night and able to sleep soundly. The staff is polite but the front desk folks were a bit overworked and stressed. The included breakfast was convenient - I recommend going to Carve for the grab and go option - they had the best options. We had a nice dinner at Bond45 during our stay and the wait staff were great, but those handing out the breakfast clearly did not want to be there. The Rum House was great - creative drinks and we really enjoyed the jazz. The doorman was so kind and helpful - he was our favorite. Overall, a solid choice in a great location.

The bathroom is severely out of date. The location is great and super convenient. The room is completely acceptable. Just wish the bathroom didn’t seem like a cheap rental apartment.

Very clean room and the service was amazing. Special shout out to Jason for making us feel welcomed during check in and check out! Will definitely book again in the future!

Very professionally run with staff that are friendly and helpful. The rooms are a good size for the area and price. Location is great for Broadway shows and mid-town activities. Really a great choice if you need a home base while you have fun or business in New York.

Room was spacious and location excellent. We did have someone wander into our room at 1am one night but they quickly left. Concerning their key worked. Disappointed the hotel bar had very limited hours. Resort fee but no resort amenities! Super disappointed to be charged $4 a bag to store our luggage the day we left. Have stayed in other hotels in NYC and it’s always been complimentary!
