I enjoyed staying here. The staff was very helpful, respectful, and nice.

Me and my family always enjoy our stay at Ala Moana Hotel. There were multiple events happening in and around Ala Moana Hotel like graduations, cheer competitions and even beauty pageants which caused major back ups in the elevator. Security was really helpful and tried their best to help with the elevator situations. Housekeeping staff was spectacular. The hotel room was clean and fresh. We did notice that their beautiful lei wallpaper was peeling off in some areas. The ice & water machine was broken on our floor so we had to go to a different one for that. We also bought sodas from their vending machine, however the sodas were expired from 2025. I was able to get a refund at the front desk for the sodas. Other than those minor things, Ala Moana Hotel is a great place to stay!

We stayed four nights and we really enjoyed our staying the moment we arrived at the lobby. The staff was friendly and was always helpful when we needed it. The hotel was clean and so was the room. We only got in the pool once but the water to be a little cold for us. We ate once at the restaurant for dinner time and the wait time was not that bad but found prices to be a little steep but overall it was a good experience. One thing that really bothered us was that sometimes the elevators would take a very long time to arrive but other than that, we never had any issues at all. Right on the beach and surrounded by a lot of restaurants and stores, but sometimes it was hard to find parking on the street since we were not paying for valet parking. Definitely would stay here again if I want to be right across from the beach and the heart area of Waikiki.

Second time in HI and came back to the same hotel, again we were so happy with our stay:)

Very nice hotel with an ideal location to the beach. It’s currently undergoing some remodeling.
